In Rizzo We Trust? The Future of Nats without Scherzer, Turner, Huddy, Schwarber and Hand

Nationals spark a fire sale of players as the trade deadline nears. Max Scherzer and Trea Turner are expected to head to LA and play for the Dodgers, in a surprise move. Home run hitter, Kyle Schwarber heading to Boston, Daniel Hudson to the Padres, and Brad Hand who did not have his best record as a closing pitcher (just recently back to back walk off while he was on the mound) is heading to the Blue Jays.

Hard for fans to digest these beloved players in another uniform but is this a good time to rebuild a team that has had a rough few seasons after the World Series run in 2019? Rizzo is piecing together a team that can make it to the playoffs next year and beyond?
