Eduardo "Sugar" Nunes landed the biggest win of his career as he successfully stops Shavkhat Rakhimov in what was supposed to be the latter's celebratory homecoming fight in Tajikistan. "Sugar" pulled off the upset and this stoppage win now secures him a dance with the winner of the upcoming IBF Title fight between current champion Joe Cordina & IBO champion Anthony Cacace.

As for Rakhimov, this unfortunately may be one of his last opportunities at title contention as he looked like a shell of himself in this contest.
