The lightweight division is under the scope of the boxing world as Joseph "JOJO" Diaz (32-2-1) 15 KOs faces up and coming Mexican sensation William "Camaron" Zepeda (26-0) 23 KOs in a meaningful fight for the division. The Mexican-American vs Mexican war will be hosted by the city of San Diego.

Over in New York Vasyl Lomachenko (16-2) 11 KOs steps into the ring against a rising star in Jamaine Ortiz (16-0-1) 8 KOs. This is definitely the biggest test for the young Ortiz while for Loma this is a stay busy fight and a step closer at challenging for all the titles and regaining his throne atop the division.
