The Party’s core tactic is mass confusion; we have immunity to it - Episode 35 - Hour 2

THE THESIS: For the little folk, The Party wants to relegate everything to the level of feelings. Some people feel like cops kill unarmed black people all day long, some people don’t feel that. In some communities, people feel like kids don’t need any social contact to grow into healthy adults; in other communities, people feel differently. Your identity is what you feel or like to feel, the close to Id ego and instant gratification the better. Religions are all simply paths up the same mountain depending on how you feel like climbing. For The Party, though, everything is upgraded to authority. Your movement, purchases, jobs, education, housing, food sources, kid’s schools, medical care, ability to share your thoughts are all ruled by the hard hand of The Party’s all-knowing, concrete set of diktats. This makes The Party the new truth, an attempt to replace observable, testable, falsifiable scientific truth and, far worse, to replace the Lord Jesus as the Light, The Truth and The Way. 

THE SCRIPTURE: 

Romans 8: 6-11

6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life[a] because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of[b] his Spirit who lives in you.

I appreciate what you are doing, and love listening and hearing how you tie scripture into today’s events (or more accurately, the other way around). The opening of Friday’s show (Murder of a former American State), however, made me pause. When you read In an email from a listener/friend (Brandylin) what sounded like “prophecy” from an ‘Amanda Grace’, including some very biblically -sounding language and dates, I felt you stepped over a line. The Bible is very clear that no one knows what is going to happen exactly, and definitely no dates. (Matt 24:42-44, Mk. 13:32, 2 Peter 3:10, Rev. 16:15) This information was interesting, relevant, but also not scriptural in a literal sense, and could possibly lead some listeners off-track in searching for ‘secret’ answers in a place or from a source that we should not be relying on - rather, we should be relying on scripture itself. I was disappointed, because I want to wholeheartedly recommend your podcast to some of my weaker believing church family members. When you talked about being addicted to politics, I agreed and thought that the Lord might be using you to help those who are caught up in that tendency, but this is a kind of red flag- Revelation 22:18 warns about adding to scripture. I hope you will take this in the spirit I am sending it, because I believe in what you’re doing. (This is the second email I’ve sent you, which is something I have never done!) I am praying for your show and for you and your staff.
