Are modern scientists actually objective?

There is science - and then there are deep biases parading as science. Many arguments in science about the origins of the universe, abiogenesis and evolution continue to rage only because many scientists hold on to prejudices which they pretend are objective stances. It is entirely possible that some of these scientists may not even recognise their own biases and are therefore working under a serious misapprehension.
