Episode 717 – October 22, 2023

On episode 717 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table with Joe (Joseph Santorsa on Facebook and @[email protected] on Mastodon) from The Poorly Written Political Blog, Matt (@[email protected] on Mastodon) from The Messaging Matters Blog, Seth (@SethP23 on Twitter and @[email protected] on Mastodon) from the VEGANesp Blog, and Justice Putnam (@justiceputnam on Twitter and @[email protected] on Mastodon) from NetrootsRadio.com and http://www.dailykos.com/user/justiceputnam.

On the show this week we start out with introductions and the Social Media Friends segment, then we discuss clips of the Morning Joe crew having a field day with Trump’s diatribe declaring that Republicans eat their young, a new Chris Christie ad where he calls Trump a fool 5 times, and Rep. Keith Self blaming the House Republican chaos on President Biden. Next we discuss clip’s of Rep. Larry Bucshon calling the House speaker drama a ‘bipartisan failure’, The Fox and Friends crew calling house Republicans a carnival of idiots, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody ad from the Indeed job recruiting company called ‘Indeed: In Need of a Speaker’. Then we discuss clips of Trump saying he’s willing to go to jail in a speech, Jimmy Kimmel celebrating Trumps willingness to go to jail, and the Morning Joe crew getting fired up about Trump violating one of his gag orders. Next we discuss clips of Chris Hayes laughing at the Hannity producer’s emails attempting to whip votes for Rep. Jim Jordan, Scott Jennings calling the Repubican Speaker drama ‘the biggest circle jerk in the history of circles, or jerks’, Joyce Vance White saying that Trump’s lawyers flipping in the Georgia case brings new heat to Trump, and we close out the show with a clip of Lisa Rubin and Joy Reid discussing the $5,000 fine and threat of jail time that Judge Engoron slapped on Trump for violating his gag order.
