Saskia has a real love for the outdoors and in particular long distance running. At a young age though a routine scan revealed a mitral valve prolapse leading in later life, to mitral valve repair at the age of 31. In this episode Rob Underwood from the BHF talks to Saskia about how she coped through those early years, with regular hospital check ups part of her everyday life. Also how she faced those difficult days surrounding her surgery but now, looks forward to a bright future ahead.
