In this podcast episode, we explore the world of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and share valuable insights on how to kickstart your journey in automation as a freelancer. We'll discuss the key resources and tools that can empower you when starting as an SDET and explore whether having a mentor is essential during your transition to becoming an SDET.

Join us as we dive into the daily life of an SDET and understand the difference between working on pure testing company projects like Moolya, Qualitest, and others, versus being a part of a QA team in a development project. Additionally, we'll address the prevailing question of why there seem to be fewer opportunities for QA professionals and how you can navigate this landscape to unlock new possibilities in your career.

If you're curious about making the shift to SDET, seeking mentorship, or curious about the various avenues to grow within the QA domain, this podcast episode is a must-listen for you!
