Hollywood is churning out lots of blockbuster action flicks that feature female leads. These modern female heroes serves as a good metaphor for the church, which is referred to as the bride of Christ. If the church is a tough heroin, there has never been a time when she is more needed than now. The church is a force for good and has answers for the most perplexing moral questions of our time such as the question of why is there evil and suffering in this world.
