A lot of people might wonder why someone would move from a great corporate position to teaching.  Sometimes we have to look behind the curtain and understand someone's motivation, passion and background. In this episode I go behind the curtain with Dawn Moore, a teacher in higher education in Canada. I'm so excited for Dawn to join me and bring inspiration and tangible guidance on what she had to learn to become a better teacher. Dawn has a great story on how she changed course with a difficult student and its impact on her teaching. Dawn shares her journey of switching from accounting to higher education, the pitfalls, advantages and being a woman of color in a her environment. I'm so excited for you to listen to this episode, my friend, because it will push you to change course when needed so go ahead and hit that play button.
