Benji Leibowitz is a data scientist at Tempus where he is working diligently to accelerate cancer research.
He has visions of helping cure diseases, starting with cancer and ultimately slowing down aging.
Like many of us, he feels held back by not valuing himself at a deep level, which he and Aaron trace back, at least in part, to old wounds from childhood.
At times growing up Benji felt like an outsider or was embarrassed. These patterns may be playing out today.
Aaron recommends a two-pronged approach: meditating and healing deep wounds, as discussed in A Path with Heart: A Guide Through the Perils and Promises of Spiritual Life by Jack Kornfield.
