Jen has been living with type 3c diabetes for 4 years. Jen was diagnosed with pancreatitis which led to her having a pancreatectomy. A pancreatectomy is the removal of part or all of the pancreas. This led to Jen’s diagnosis of type 3 c diabetes. We have a deep conversation about this whole process for Jen and adjusting to life after the operation as someone living with type 3c diabetes. The Talking Type 1 podcast is a diabetes podcast by Daniel Newman.
