Introducing Playmas, Where Carnival Meets Technology

If you're a carnivalist that plays mas regularly, you've probably crossed paths with the Playmas platform at some point for costume registration. Rory Peters, their Sales and Operations Director, is one of the brains behind the scenes. Rory and I sat down virtually back in November '23 (I know, it's been a minute), but we recently met in Miami for an event we were both attending. This conversation was worth the wait, and we’re happy to share it with you! Plus, who doesn't love a good UK accent? 

As a reminder, this season, we're all about peeling back the curtain and shining a spotlight on the folks and crews that make carnival magic happen. Rory shares his thoughts about the carnival scene, and of course educates us about Playmas, so buckle up and get ready to soak in the knowledge.

P.s. since we recorded, Playmas has teamed up with AI Tix, another tech whiz crew. I was intrigued when I met their founder during my Miami escapades.
