Join us this week as we talk about all the news that wasn’t in 2020. Yes, we’re talking about the stories that the coronavirus and the election may have driven from our minds - from the bizarre mansion listings and child naming practices of the crazy rich to the emancipation of Harry and Meghan. On more serious notes, we celebrate the service of a local city council member who ended her term this year, and we recommit to making sure that Kentucky movements for racial justice don’t slip below our radar. The short legislative session is coming up, and it’s time to advocate for Breonna’s Law. This year, we’re thankful for frontline workers and all they’ve done in 2020, but we’ve got to give special respect to some valiant park rangers out west who stopped some cooking crimes in the Yellowstone hot springs from a news story we missed entirely when it came out. Finally, we preview the year ahead for the podcast by teasing our upcoming episode “The Fire Ute.”
