This week, we’re remembering that time in history when we used to leave our homes and go places AKA travel. Jenny’s joy at packing a suitcase to move her daughter to college sparked nostalgia in all of us for hitting the road. So we’re taking a week to talk about travel mishaps, whether it’s long delays on the tarmac, meeting famous jockey at the baggage claim, or being bitten by a thousand mosquitos in foreign locales, we miss a world outside the four walls of our homes. Come for the turbulence, stay for Katie’s encounters with politicians at the DC airports. Bonus: We have to decide whether Jenny’s Kentuckian status gets revoked because she didn’t know that horses could fly on planes.
