This week, Ashley and Cam co-tell the mysterious story of June and Jennifer Gibbons, AKA The Silent Twins. June and Jennifer Gibbons were Barbadian twins growing up in all-white Wales in the 80s. Born with a speech impediment, and bullied incessantly at school, the girls decided to stop speaking to anyone but each other. A burglary and arson spree in their late teens landed the sisters an indefinite stay at Broadmoor, the UK's most infamous psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane. What happened upon their release was even stranger.
