Do you have the Gospel message backwards? Maybe you've kept God at arm's length. Sometimes we feel like we need to be "better" before we start a relationship with Jesus. This isn't the Gospel message at all. Actually, trying to clean up your life before starting a relationship with God is the backwards message of the Gospel. God's message to us is that we can't be Holy so God is Holy for us. Only God is good. We can't clean up anything in our lives. That's the Gospel.
