It’s an all new That Real Blind Tech Show. With an epic week in tech, we got the entire gang here to recap it all. We kick things off about pickles, but unlike a dirty pickle, this story is about a frozen pickle.

We then get a little side tracked about mice, alligators, and gerbils as only That Real Blind Tech show can do. We then get a lesson about the streets of Japan.

We then discuss the issue with the latest Jaws update.

We then dive in to the debacle known as the Sonos update.

Apple and Open A.I. are rumored to be finalizing details to have ChatGPT in iOS 18. We got our iOS 18 accessibility enhancements announced the day before Global Accessibility Awareness Day. In iOS 18 you will be able to use custom phrases to trigger actions. Here is a list of all the new accessibility features mentioned by Apple coming in iOS 18.

Open A.I. has unveiled ChatGPT 4 Omni, and it is pretty impressive. And because one article cannot sum it all up, here’s a second article discussing some of the other capabilities of ChatGPT 4o. Open A.I. will also be launching a Mac Desktop app, not available just yet as we have checked. ChatGPT will soon be able to see everything on your Mac or iPhone screen. Is this the beginning of the screen reader evolution? But the biggest thing coming out of Open A.I.’s announcements was Andy Lane showing off the next generation of vision as a blind person using ChatGPT 4Omni.

We then move on to discussing all the announcements that came out of Google IO. Android phones will now be able to tell if someone snatches your phone out of your hand. Gemini will also be getting better at understanding what is on your phone’s screen. Google glass may be dead, but Google is working on a new prototype of glasses. Android phones will soon allow you to use your face to control your cursor. Who knew with the explosion of A.I. that it would lead to Google actually cleaning up its search? Google has a lot of new enhancements coming to Android tool Lookout.

We then spin the bottle and go around the table as most of us have been buying new things. Products discussed here include the new iPad Pro, Meta Ray bans, Zoom Essential H6, and more.

And it’s more of Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading.
