Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad is the superhero film based on the DC Comics team of the same name. Produced by DC Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, The Suicide Squad is the standalone sequel to Suicide Squad (2016) and the tenth film in the DC Extended Universe.

The government sends the most dangerous supervillains in the world – Bloodsport (Idirs Alba), Peacemaker (John Cena), King Shark (Sylvester Stallone), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and others – to the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. Armed with high-tech weapons, they trek through the dangerous jungle on a search-and-destroy mission, with only Colonel Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) on the ground to make them behave.
