Surprise! It’s Cloverfield 3!

During this year’s Super Bowl, Netflix made an announcement that they would be premiering the new Cloverfield movie on their streaming service that night immediately after the game. On the same day they put out a teaser trailer and a poster, and as soon as the game finished, we got The Cloverfield Paradox – the third instalment in the Cloverfield franchise.

Once again produced by J. J. Abrams and Bad Robot Productions, this time directed by Julius Onah, The Cloverfield Paradox follows a group of international astronauts aboard a space station who activate a particle accelerator in hopes of solving the Earth’s energy crisis. After accidentally travelling to an alternate dimension, the group must then find a way to get home.
