In this episode, our resident Universal Design for Learning (UDL) enthusiast, and former ELA teacher, Joni Degner teams up with Louis Shanafelt, EquatIO Product Manager and former math teacher as they delve into the world of UDL in the math classroom.

During the episode the pair take a look at what effective goal setting looks like, as well as how to design instruction to overcome barriers to students' affective brain networks. They also have a chat about how the move to remote and hybrid learning practices have accelerated the need to universally design learning, particularly in the math arena.

They also want to hear from you.
They want to know what you've been doing this year that's been working well. What strategies do you have in place, or what tools have your students been able to use to make remote learning in math accessible and engaging for all learners?
