Winning asylum in the United States has never been easy. And it’s even tougher now. At the time of this recording, more than 2,000 children, whose parents have been prosecuted for crossing the border illegally, are living in shelters, institutions and foster homes across the country. Many parents have no idea where their children are staying, if they’re safe and being cared for. Will they be reunited? When and how? Teresa and her guest, ACLU Florida Immigration Attorney Amien Kacou, will examine the zero tolerance policy and what it really means.
