What is "Content", exactly? That's the central question for this episode, as we try to figure out why the Youtube algorithm keeps recommending 2hr + videos  where a bunch of guys talk about why it's okay to be a bloke and have mental health , but also why social justice warriors keep ruining their lives, around the same Amazon podcasting kit.

In this episode, we're joined by our friend, writer and reluctant podcaster Clive Martin. You might know him for his writing, but Clive also has a podcast called Hypnic Jerk. In this episode, he talks about how the algorithm has exposed the depths of our inner psyche, and in so doing, has successfully commercialised our anxieties into the same, monetised form of ambient sound - where content exists not to be consumed, but to simply exist in the background and make us not feel so alone.

We also talk about more cringe Biden posting, and in particular, a now deleted thread on which Avengers would defend the Capitol from Trump supporters - including a remarkably murderous Hulk, and a Black Panther if he was created by Lin Manuel Miranda.
