Coach Kiefer Haffey,
In this episode, you’ll hear from Coach Kiefer Haffey. Coach Kiefer is currently an assistant coach for Coach Kate Achter at the University of Detroit Mercy, who was recently hired as head coach for the Detroit Titans. As you soon will find out, this 28-year-old coach is a super talented young coach. As a matter of fact, prior to being hired at Detroit Mercy, Coach Haffey spent four seasons as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Mich. At Concordia, Coach Haffey built a program that won 62 games in a four-year span. And, he led his team to 53 wins in the last three seasons, winning 19 games this past season. Coach Haffey earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Wayne State University in 2017 and a Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from the University of Michigan in 2020. At Wayne State, Coach Kiefer was a student manager for Coach David Greer and his men’s program. And as you will soon hear, Coach Greer, Coach Neely, Coach Haralson, and Coach Smothers all IMPACTED Coach Haffey greatly. The respect that Coach Haffey has for Coach Kate and his co-workers are off-the-charts in the conversation.
