"Jennifer Dihenia (they/them pronouns) is a Crisis Services Shift Supervisor at The Trevor Project, who identifies as nonbinary. They have been a part of the organization for 5 years — first as a volunteer on the Lifeline, and then transitioning into a role on staff supporting counselors in the chat and text program as they talk to LGBTQ youth in crisis across the country. As a part of the Crisis Services team, Jennifer also supports the organization in training new counselors as they build skills to support the young people who reach out for support. Additionally, Jennifer is in a doctorate program for clinical psychology and hopes to be able to build upon their experience at The Trevor Project in supporting LGBTQ youth."
