The Creation of Sully’s Hill National Park at Devil’s Lake, North Dakota on April 27, 1904 – one of TR’s five National Parks – with appearances by President Ulysses S. Grant on his birthday (1822) and General Zebulon Pike on the anniversary of his death in the Battle of Toronto on this date in 1813 in the War of 1812.
