Smart Kitchen Summit 2020 is going virtual. Like so many events this year, the global pandemic has forced an evolution from in-person to online. Is the food tech world better positioned to go virtual? On this episode of Tech Bites, host Jennifer Leuzzi talks with The Spoon publisher Michael Wolf about the Smart Kitchen Summit 2020 and how they plan to execute the first ever worldwide virtual event. A highlight of the October event is the Startup Showcase, the longest running and most well known food tech startup competition. This year’s 10 finalist companies will have the opportunity to pitch and demo their innovation to a global audience of leading executives, influencers, journalists, analysts and funders interested in the space. Startups can enter to participate until September 15, 2020.
