Mike drinks tea with Melanie Smith-Doderai, an early childhood music and movement specialist who is a recipient of the CMFTA award. Melanie performs with the Divertimento Baroque Ensemble as a freelance musician. She is also Canada’s first aerial silk violinist to be seen on Canada’s Got Talent.

The theme of Melanie’s story was learning how she has combined her love for children, music, and aerial into a career as an early childhood music and movement specialist and a performer. Melanie spoke about the creative process behind her performances and how she balances performing commitments with being a mum.
