Dr. April L (Henderson) Johnson, was born in New Jersey. Presently resides in Florida with her husband, Samuel Johnson. Dr. Johnson has four sons along with several grandchildren.

In August 2019 earned her doctoral degree in Christian counselling from Friends International Christian University. Dr. Johnson is the senior pastor of Saint Mary freewill Baptist Church, plant city FL.

She is the CEO, Business Consultant, Licensed Insurance Agent at Dr. April Johnson Enterprises LLC. President at Johnson Counseling Enrichment Center for Christian Counseling, Certified Marriage, Bereavement and offers Low-Income Tax Services.

Dr. April Johnson is also an author of inspirational and children’s books. Dr. Johnson's heart is for her community as an advocate, collaborator and leader.
