On today’s show I talk with Rachel Scott.

I’ve known Rachel since 2010, when we met at YYOGA. I was a new teacher, and Rachel mentored me over over 12 weeks, and helped me through all the inevitable ups and downs that any new teacher goes through. Since then Rachel has helped me refine and uplevel how I lead my teacher trainings.

If I were to sum it up in one statement, I would say that Rachel is an expert in creating exceptionally high quality yoga education, and helping other teachers do the same. Rachel was the director of YYOGA’s teachers college for over 7 years & has auditioned, hired & coached over 300 hundred teachers.

She is also a prolific writer and has written for the Huffington Post & Yoga International, as well as two books, “Head Over Heels, A Yogi’s Guide To Dating” & “Wit & Wisdom From The Yoga Mat”

Rachel has her masters in Instructional design, and consults with clients around the world in all things related to business, yoga education, and the topic of our conversation today - teaching yoga online.

We talk about:

Transitioning your in person content to an online formatHow to build an online courseThe tech side of teaching onlineAnd why you don’t need 1 million instagram followers to get people into your online offerings

I hope you enjoy the show
