In this episode, Dr. Shaw talks about a subject that came up because it was the holiday season... the topic is greed and being greedy.  Children often want more than is necessary, and Dr. Shaw shares her strategies for dealing with greediness drawn from her lifetime of experience teaching young children.   She teaches that when a child is "in the moment," that child is able to appreciate what they have as opposed to being preoccupied with the next shiny object.
