Lexxus as he was originally called was born in the Mountain View area of Kingston, Jamaica.
Lexx broke onto the dancehall scene in the early to mid 1990s with hit songs "Cook" and "Ring Off Mi Cellie", both songs were what we call club bangers and are still in rotation at Night Club and Dancehall sessions.
