Bridgerton Spin-off Series

What’s your favorite Colin/Food moments?  Is it when he’s have tea at No.5?  Actor Luke Newton tweeted the question the fans delivered!

Congratulations to Rege-Jean Page for his 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards win.  Leslie Jones did a hilarious Bridgerton skit and even suggested what Lady Whistledown could do.

What we could do is vote for “Bridgerton: Penelope is revealed as Lady Whistledown” to win the Virgin Media Must-See Moment of 2020.  Voting closes at 5:00pm (UK time) on 24th May.  Also, don’t forget, we have until 21st May to vote for the TV Choice awards!

We hope to see many must-see moments when Shonda Rhimes delivers her spin-off series of a young Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury, and Violet Bridgerton!  Who doesn’t want to see how these naughty ladies become the influencers amongst the ton?

Chris Van Dusen had announced that he will continue to be the showrunner for season two, but Bridgerton veteran, Jess Brownell, will take over as showrunner for seasons three and four.

We’re grateful for everything CVD has done for the show and we’re grateful for him taking the time to like our tweet!

We’re also grateful for the two theater greats who were on the Bridgerton: The Official Podcast.  Golda Rosheuvel and Adjoa Andoh were interviewed, and of course bringing us joy and sage advice.

This weekend, CVD, Phoebe Dynevor, and Nicola Coughlan were on Deadline’s Contenders Television Livestream Event.  CVD stayed mum about anything season two, and our Daphne and Penelope recalled how the show changed their lives.

The show has probably changed our lives somehow, so if you have a burning question about season one, submit that question and it will possibly be answered on the official podcast.

The book covers have also been changed.  There’s another version of the US Bridgerton covers to match the UK covers.  For autographed copies, order from University Bookstore!

Cast and crew have been spotted all over the UK to film, and have fun (in Wales).  Hopefully we get another Christmas Day release.

We’ll wait and see what else buzzy news we get this week.  Until then, join us as we absorb all the amazingness of the spin-off news, and celebrate the Bridgerton universe!
