Outlook For The Electric Vehicle Industry

Steve Westly says EV battery wars will be about how fast global competitors can build out low cost production. They are looking for automakers to transition from partnerships to in-house production. He adds that lithium, cobalt, and nickel are amongst the most plentiful elements, but says lithium is expensive to mine. He talks about the current lead in Tesla but there is a lot of competition.
