"The Fed minutes came in pretty much as expected. Is a 50BPS interest rate hike to be expected in March 2023? I think the Federal Reserve missed an opportunity to keep the pace up and if they do end up going 50BPS, that would signal to the market that they do not have control. Europe is expected to continue to tighten through the fall and the U.S. Dollar Index is over 50% weighted to the Euro," says Jake Hanley.
