Episode 40- Imaginarium: Charlie Wilson's War

Liam's choice this week! Rather than force Tarver and Blake to watch 90 hours of The West Wing, Liam leads the dudes on a trip back to the 80s to check out Aaron Sorkin's take on George Crile III's 2003 novel centered around US Congressman Charlie Wilson's efforts to end Russia's military involvement in Afghanistan during the Cold War. It's more interesting than it sounds- I promise. This one is a banger- Aaron Sorkin's writing gives Tom Hanks, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Julia Roberts nothing but amazing dialog to work with, and hammer drop upon hammer to drop. We got truth bombs and real bombs going off, and a scene re-write to cap it all.
