In honour of Orange Shirt Day, I dedicate this episode to all Residential School Survivors. In this episode I share my perspective as a Blackfoot woman and teacher on the history of Residential Schools and the intergenerational impact it has had on Indigenous people in Canada. I also share stories from my own experiences attending colonial schools and how teachers can support Indigenous students and connect with Indigenous families and communities.
