My business is motivational speaking trying to get businesses to understand the people in their organisation and how to get the best out of people.
Through engagement and understanding what really drives their people, their barriers and how to improve retention by people never wanting to leave the business because they feel heard listened to and valued.
The podcast I do also helps people understand through education and self-improvement and to understand that people only make poor decisions of leadership by uninformed or uneducated views and opinions.
Richard Stevens started asking the question, 'What's Inside the Orange?' when he wanted to understand why he felt like he did about understanding people, how he wanted his sons to be understood when they started work (one of them is autistic) and how you can get people to understand a business and a business to understand their people but not just seeing what's on the outside. Once you see what's inside the orange, you can understand your people better and your people will understand your business too.
