In the wee hours of the morning of March 16, 1967 soldiers at both the The Echo Flight Launch Control Center and the Oscar Flight Launch Control Center near Malmstrom Air Force Base reported seeing red glowing UFOs hovering above the base. Staff at both sights reported that shortly after the UFOs appearance the ICBMs at the facilities began randomly shutting down in quick succession. To this day it's never been officially reported what caused the system malfunction that night.
