Chicago-based artist, and Los Angeles native, Marqueal Jordan is the rare musician who is blessed with the gift of being equally proficient as an instrumentalist and a vocalist. His distinctive saxophone tone and style, combined with his soulful vocals, places him in the tradition of legendary dual talents, Donny Hathaway and George Benson. His debut release "Catalyst" was a well-received introduction to the Contemporary/Smooth Jazz genre and it showed fans that he was more than a sideman in a great touring band.
Marqueal's new record "Intention & Purpose" is his sophomore album and the next significant step in his journey of being an independent solo recording and tour artist.
