On this episode of Talking Late Night, Max interviews Damon Sumner, an accomplished stand-up comedian, co-founder of China's very first maintained comedy club, and co-host of the sports and comedy podcast "Fourth and Ten." Since starting stand-up, Damon has had an extremely successful and exciting career in comedy. He has gotten to perform sets at festivals and clubs not only all over the United States but the world as well. He has shared the stage with people such as Todd Glass, Iliza Shlesinger, and Wendy Liebman, and performed at festivals like the Dallas Comedy Festival and the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival. Damon was a part of the team that opened the first full-time mainland comedy club in China, the Kungfu Comedy Club. The club's influence in Asian comedy has been instrumental and was a leading cause of stand-up spreading to many Asian countries, notably China and Vietnam. Finally, Damon co-hosts the hilarious podcast "Fourth and Ten" alongside former Talking Late Night guest David Perdue and fellow stand-up comedian Nathan Owens. Want to learn more about Damon?
