Lucy and Saul are fully aware that the world has taken a monumental shift - the Coronavirus outbreak has left our little bit of the world in Horticulture reeling both personally and professionally. So we both decided that instead of our longer format episodes every 3 weeks or so - we going to record shorter podcasts, through the week, to bring you a slice of our lives at East Donyland Hall and Stonelands and beyond - trying to bring a little bit of spring and sunshine to your eardrums.

As the growing season reaches full steam Lucy is starting to crop some of her early sowings of spinach, radishes and salad leaves, and Saul is harvesting regular spears from the Asparagus. Though this is the exciting end of growing your own vegetables both realise that having a realistic way of using the produce is the most important factor in planning the kitchen garden in the first place. This is more important when as Head Gardeners they are growing produce for their owners, learning there eating habits, the vegetables and fruit they prefer and ensuring as little waste as possible.
