On one of the final days of 2023 let's take some time to discuss what went on in 2023 for our San Diego Padres. There were extensions given out, hyped up events, record sellout crowds, a series in Mexico, the owner saying his GM is excellence, players with bad quotes to the media, adding at the trade deadline before missing the postseason, a NL Cy Young award winner, the parting ways with the manager, the hiring of a new manager, the death of the owner and the (essentially) forced trade of a superstar.
