Banana Nut Bread
Ready in 60 minutes
Lightly grease pans with oil or cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Ingredients2 sticks butter1 ½ cups granulated sugar¼ cup packed light brown sugar3 Large eggs1 ½ teaspoons vanilla1 Tablespoon baking powder3 ripe mashed bananas½ cup milk3 cups flour1 cup chopped WalnutsPreparationCream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.Add in vanilla, baking powder and mix well until combinedAdd in eggs one at a time and mix each egg in well before adding another.Add in the mashed bananas and mix well until combined.Mix in the milk and make sure that it is well incorporated.Mix in the flour, one cup at a time.Once all of this is done, fold in your Walnuts and make sure they are well incorporated.Fill your prepared pans ¾ of the way up with your batter then place in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.Remove your bread from the oven and let it cool for at least 1 ½ hours before removing from the pan. Or let it cool for 30 minutes and serve warm with butter or jam.ENJOY!
