Cristina D'Averso-Collins: The Joy of Love & Family Conference

Recently, The Joy of Love & Family Conference Series was made available on-line. This virtual conference, the result of a partnership among the five Catholic dioceses of New Jersey, will run though November and offer monthly presentations from acclaimed speakers from across the Catholic landscape who will be focusing on various aspects of family life, at all its stages. Joining us on the podcast today is the co-creator of the conference, Cristina D’Averso-Collins, the Director of Family Life for the Diocese of Metuchen. Cristina is an accomplished family life and campus minister with a passion for helping people understand the faith and how they can be active participants in it. Mike Walsh and guest host Donna Ottaviano-Britt chat with Cristina about all the conference has to offer Catholics in New Jersey and around the nation.

With more than 30 talks, some of which will be included as part of the series’ Spanish track, the conference has presentations for teens, young people, single parents, newlyweds, married couples, and even for grandparents on how to care for their adult children and grandchildren.
