The Author

Salty Yeom is from Daegu in South Korea, he comes from a scientific and mathematical academic background. Salty has attended various universities in his home country but has long held a desire to extend his scholarly education in the sciences by attending the prestigious University of Stamford in the US. Salty strongly believes that education is a fundamental right that should be open to all, for education is key to knowledge and knowledge is key to a successful and fruitful life. Salty currently coaches young students in Maths. His religious thinking’s are quite unique, it’s almost as if he’s combining religious teaching with scientific evidence. Of course, those with a scientific mindset are nearly always looking to justify a theory, teaching with proven facts to support the ideology. For me life isn’t always so clinical and at times you simply have to go with your gut instinct, which as we all know doesn’t come with rhyme or reason attached to it.

The Books

He is Back: Ten Pieces of Evidence

This is Salty’s second book, is it a follow on from his first book God’s Plan? Or is that just coincidental. Maybe if he writes more books on this subject matter, he might consider grouping all the books under a series. Who Knows!

But for the purpose of this podcast interview we’re mainly focusing on his book ‘He is Back: Ten Pieces of Evidence.’

In this book, Salty examines the prophecy of the second coming, proving evidence that our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ will be returning. When! well, that’s the big question and only God knows the answer to that question. The evidence Salty covers off in this book, is split into ten pieces (hence the subtitle) nicely divided into three Acts/parts. The book also finds Salty addressing such key areas such as:

What signals are given that could possibly indicate Jesus’ forthcoming return.

What conclusions can we draw from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Why must we be cautious of the existence of false Christs.

What signs pointed to Jesus’ initial arrival.

Salty also discusses the prophecies of the so-called Second Coming of Jesus in the New Testament, plus rejection of Jesus due to recognition issues surrounding his identity, form and appearance outside of Israel.

Salty Yeom’s debut book God’s Plan you might perceive as a book coming from a different angle pertaining to certain religious theories. I wouldn’t go as far as to say his views are radical, but they are certainly thought-provoking, so to ant erudite reader who likes a provocative book around religious ideologies then his is the book for you to analyse, and maybe challenge the author’s viewpoints.

The book touches on the recent pandemic of 2020 that besieged the world in so many ways. Was the Pandemic part of God’s plan as a sign of judgement on mankind or was it a menacing virus that wreaked havoc across the world with no intervention from a higher so-called being. Religion, whatever your views or beliefs certainly dominates our everyday lives. Salty Yeom I would say has some strong views here, which when I first chatted to him struck me as odd, particularly when you learn he comes from a scientific and mathematical background subjects that he teaches young students in Daegu, South Korea where he lives. My conception of scientists is that they find it hard to accept the bible’s version of man’s origin for they usually want evidence, proof so to speak rather than just believing, so for me Salty appears to have broken the mould here which for me is odd. It’s an intriguing read with interesting viewpoints, so go and have a look.
