The Author

Mark Rogers was born in Mansfield, Ohio in the U.S. and to this very day he still lives in the area. Mark has a mechanical engineering degree and retired as a journeyman diemaker for a domestic auto manufacturer. With family background in the automotive industry, his main interest is in old car hobby. Mark’s talents lie in many fields; he’s written many published articles for a car club magazine and published a data and historic reference book. But this is his first undertaking into the sci-fi fiction romance genre.

Mark was horribly bullied within his family for the first nineteen years of his life, equally he was bullied at school. This early stage of his life left an indelible mark on him, hence his decision to get involved with the ‘Trevor Project,’ a project that tackles issues around anti-bullying.

The Book

This book is a same sex sci-fi romance novel, its deeper message is about anyone who is in societal eyes different and how orthodox religious teachings prejudices those that are seen, viewed as non- compliant with historical scriptural teachings. The point of the book is to give support and understanding to anyone struggling with their religious practices and ideologies, and their individual sexuality. At times in the book the author Mark’s views in this sensitive area are quite determined and beguiling.
