#cobrakai is a direct sequel to the #karatekid trilogy released between #1984 & #1989. Following both #Johnny #Lawrence and #Daniel #LaRusso after their apparently fate-deciding match in 1984, as they both make decisions that impact themselves via the sport they both love so much, to the point where it affects those closest to them. It's a different yet unique feel. It's got a lot of #nostalgia, but it make have accidentally stumbled onto something smart on the way there. It features some corny moments, but it has its themes and charm as well. It is #Cobra #Kai. Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy.

Season 3 of the hit show premiered on #netflix on January 1st, 2021, and this season packed no punches when it came to throwing the audience right back into all the action from the first season. This season sought to continue with the rich subtext of the first two seasons while also seeking to have more fun and go more ridiculous with some of the silliness of the previous seasons. Johnny & Daniel are putting aside their long rivalry in order to go head to head against the greater evil, John Kreese, while the kids are facing all sorts of new challenges. Miguel's recovering from his injury, Robbie's in juvy, Sam has some PTSD from the school fight, Eli's finding his place as the alpha dog challenged. It's chaos as usual in Hill Valley, and the creators are not stopping as they announce their plans to continue this show up until Season 7!!! #cobrakaineverdies indeed!
