Episode 175 - Creed III & The Mandalorian Season 3 Premiere (w/Luk Reviews)

March Madness is upon us people! No, not the American sport tradition, this is the Talkin' TV March Madness! We will be reviewing two major topics every week this month, and we're starting it off with two things that at least for me, had a complete opposite expectation vs. quality. Dom is joined by Luk of Luk Reviews to discuss the long awaited premiere of the third season of the Mandalorian, along with the release of the less anticipated but surprisingly great Creed III. Mandalorian returns after several years of waiting, in which we've gotten a new animated show and 3 new live action Star Wars shows, making its previously unique take on Star Wars somewhat stale now. Creed III returns 5 years after the last one, with Michael B. Jordan directing now in addition to starring, and pits his character Adonis "Donnie" Creed against former friend turned foe Damien "Dame" Anderson, portrayed by Jonathan Majors, who's just been released from jail after an almost 20 year stint and has a chip on his shoulder. These two friends battle it out both onscreen and off, with Jordan & Majors hitting it off, one as a former rising superstar, the other as the current rising superstar, promising us the viewing audience that their working relationship will evolve to become the 21st century Al Pacino & Robert DeNiro.
