A movie 13 years in the making. Literally. Eli joins Dom once again to talk about James Cameron's long awaited sequel to his massive blockbuster success, "Avatar: The Way of Water." After a lot of deliberation, waiting for certain special effects and technology to be perfected, working around actor's respective schedules, then the easy task of shooting two movies back to back, we finally have a sequel to the highest grossing movie in the world. The sequel sees Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) & Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), who have become parents in the years since the first film, dealing with the return of the humans to Pandora, led by a newly resurrected Col. Miles Quartch (Stephen Lang) who has been brought back as a Na'vi recombinant (merging of human memories into a Na'vi avatar). They take their family, which includes their 4 Na'vi children, away from the forest to the Metkayina tribe who reside alongside the ocean as part of Cameron's want to explore the rest of Pandora, where new struggles and conflicts await them. Dom & Eli break down the long journey to this movie, the effect the first film. had on the culture, the differences between Avatar and most modern day blockbusters, and how the cinema landscape has changed since the first film.
